Mummy Hot Dogs (Pølsehorn)
Mummy Hot Dogs (Pølsehorn)
Happy Halloween to you all!!!
Ingredients for Mummy Hot Dogs:
- 1 package of crescent rolls (or crescent roll dough)
- 10 good quality hot dogs
- mustard and ketchup to serve
How to Make Mummy Hot Dogs:
- Preheat the oven to 200 °C (or according to the package instructions of the dough you are using). Line a baking tray with parchment paper, then set aside.
- If you are using crescent rolls, unwrap it, then separate it at perforations. With your fingers, press perforations of the dough to seal it and to create a rectangle. If using dough sheet, unwrap it and using a pizza cutter or a sharp knife, cut it into 4 rectangles.
- Cut each rectangle into thin stripes and wrap them around each hot dog to make them look like mummies. Leave some room near the top, for the mummy face.
- Bake them in preheated oven for 14-16 minutes (depending on your oven and according to the dough instructions), until golden brown.
Draw the eyes of the mummy:
- Draw the eyes of the mummy with a bit of mustard or just be creative and draw the eye using the tool of you choice. I’ve used some candy eyeballs, but I removed them before serving 🙂
- Enjoy while hot with a spiderweb made of ketchup and mustard.
