Chocolate Banana Wraps

Yes, tortillas may be used to make delicious desserts: Chocolate Banana Wraps is one of them.
A simple dessert, with a tint of Mexican cuisine, something fast to prepare when you crave something sweet.

Ingredients for Chocolate Banana Wraps:

The below ingredients are for 4 serving:
  • 4 tortilla original small or medium
  • 100 g dark chocolate
  • 150 g cream cheese
  • 3 bananas
  • 2 tablespoons coconut sugar
  • 30 g butter, melted or spray
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • vanilla ice cream (optional, for serving)
  • blueberries (optional, for serving)

How to prepare Chocolate Banana Wraps:

  • Preheat oven to 200 °C (180 °C for fan ovens).
  • Slice the bananas and roughly chop the chocolate.
  • Blend cream cheese with the chocolate, bananas and the cinnamon.
  • Spread the mix in the middle of  Tortilla wraps. Next step is to grab the sides of the tortilla wrap and fold them so that they overlap. Then flip over the filled wrap (with the folds underneath) and place it on a baking sheet or tray. Brush or spray butter over the top of the wraps and sprinkle with coconut sugar.
  • Bake for 5-10 minutes. When ready, remove from the oven and let it cool down a bit, so the chocolate sets.
  • Cut in half and serve it with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream on top and blueberries on the side. Enjoy!
