Scandinavian Homemade Crispbread - Knækbrød Homemade crispbread is made with a minimum quantity of flour, water and vegetable oil and lots of seeds, making it a very healthy type of bread due to its high content of fibres. It is also quite easy to make, so you won’t need more than 30 minutes to prepare and to bake it. Homemade crispbread is tasty, crunchy and the perfect accompaniment to soups, patés, cheese or simply as a snack. It will keep for quite awhile once cooled completely and stored in an airtight container. The bellow ingredients are for 20-25 pieces, depending on the size of each piece.
